Using the Eraser Tool»

The Eraser tool (Q key) can be used to manually clean up or simplify paths.

• To remove any nodes and handles, click on them or click and drag with the Eraser tool. Certain “strategic” nodes won’t be removed if you Shift-click.

• To resize the Eraser, Ctrl-drag.

• To simplify the path between two nodes, Ctrl-click on the first node and then click on another node on the same contour. Segments between nodes will be simplified.
